Title: LWJGL 2.0 is out!

jPCT 1.16 won't work with it, the rc of 1.17 (the jar is here: http://www.jpct.net/download/beta/jpct.jar (http://www.jpct.net/download/beta/jpct.jar)) will.

I guess LWJGL 2.0 has opengl 3.0 support.  I read somewhere there was disappointment in opengl 3.0 because it wasn't object oriented enough or something.  Is it going to add anything?

As far as i know, it adds some extensions (as usual) and deprecates some stuff. However, the deprecated stuff will never go away. Almost no OpenGL application will work without it.
