Title: can i change min max fov?

i get 0.5 and 1.5 for minfov and maxfov, those are about 30 and 75 degree in horizontal direction. but i want larger range.

...and don't ask yourself, why this setting exists in the first place. Let's just say for 'historical reasons'.
