Actually at present I do not need, was doing other things with Loader and found this interesting method, but before he could think of a practical application, realized I was not working. I can wait for the next official release.

I come to suggest the creation of a Loader also for the COLLADA format (.dae). For it is an open standard XML-based with support for mesh, transformations, lighting, animation, etc.., Import and export supported by various tools (including Blender, 3D Studio MAX and Maya) and used by large companies such as Sony. Also, google, through "3D WhereHouse" ( offers hundreds of models ready for free download in COLLADA format, and Other entrants of sites that also offer models in this format .

I do not know the viability and would involve the development of such Loader, but I think it would be a great addition to the library JPCT / JPCT-AE.

The JavaDoc says "Reads the texture names from the 3DS-file", but the method always returns an empty array. I tested with models that I created and the model example of FPS that comes with the libs JPCT.

I apologize if I understand how the method works the wrong way, but anyway, here I leave this observation that, if necessary, be corrected.
