Chance of COLLADA Loader

I come to suggest the creation of a Loader also for the COLLADA format (.dae). For it is an open standard XML-based with support for mesh, transformations, lighting, animation, etc.., Import and export supported by various tools (including Blender, 3D Studio MAX and Maya) and used by large companies such as Sony. Also, google, through "3D WhereHouse" (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/) offers hundreds of models ready for free download in COLLADA format, and Other entrants of sites that also offer models in this format .

I do not know the viability and would involve the development of such Loader, but I think it would be a great addition to the library JPCT / JPCT-AE.

I agree that it would be a nice addition...but it's pretty low on my priority list ATM. However, that shouldn't prevent anybody from writing such a thing. Everything you need to do this should be there and if it isn't, i'll gladly add it.

Support for normals from OBJ-files. And whatever arises during the development of this RPG-like thing.
