Title: Website relaunched
Post by: EgonOlsen on November 04, 2012, 08:58:15 pm
I (as everybody else...) finally got sick of the look and the structure of the old site, so i made a new one in 2.5 evenings. I decided to use a Metro/Windows 8 UI kind of look with tiles and such. It works pretty well that way on a mobile browser, because you can't miss the tiles like you can miss a link. I've tested it on Chrome, Firefox, IE 8+9 and the Android browser.
The new site is a little leaner, i.e. i removed some pages and i also removed outdated content and texts. I hope you like it...at least say that "It's better than before...", because that was the idea... ;)

Looks pretty awesome.
The tiles in the projects-section give a nice overview with that os-specific-colors.
Good work man !

Well, a particle system is actually quite easy, unless you want the physics. I created a very basic one for my library, it fakes physics by having a starting and ending vector for direction and a "mid" point along the life of the particles of where the ending vector is in full control.
