Projects / Re: Skeletal Animation Idea?
« on: May 17, 2008, 03:05:54 pm »
It's paused, I suppose:)

I am STILL working on the PHP/Mysql RPG website I spoke about months ago!

It is taking a long time to finish.
I do intend to return to this project though.

http://www.tweakguides.com/Graphics_1.html

The above website explains in reasonably good depth, what antialiasing is, dot pitches, the difference between lcd and crt(visually speaking), and many other things. Not a bad site;)

The total line-count of my php project is:

34,870

Is that a large line count? I have never checked it before.
I figured someone here would know what is big and what isn't.

I realise the Windows source code is significantly larger, but that wasn't created by one person.

Does anyone else have any experience with line counts?

Bugs / Re: Bug in .OBJ Format import (Beta 1.15)
« on: July 27, 2007, 04:56:45 am »
Damned annoying!

All of the examples I've seen, even on the specification documents, look like the output of Blender's exporter.

It is so typical of people to add complication just to avoid a few more lines of sorting code.

I report no problems, but I used Blender to do mine.

It is a fantastic piece of software you have created, and words cannot describe how excited I am to start working with it!

Also, I can tell you that it will be in about one month now:)

I would back your cause, if I hadn't spent 4 years working on a massive text-based rpg :)

To my knowledge, it is, at the very least, deprecated.

And, you're right, it is a very sloppy language, and the OOP extension they have added is inconsistent, and overkill.
