incompatible texture mapping

when I assign a colore to any object(without assigning any texture)and export to my jpct project...
it displays  incompatible texture mapping...? why...what is the reason...how to solve it...plz reply ..its urgent

I have no idea. I only load the objects, i don't know how to use 3ds as an application. If jPCT finds a diffuse color (AND no texture) on an object, it will print out a message while loading. If it doesn't, there is no diffuse color defined or a texture assigned to that object. But i don't know how to add it in 3ds, i'm sorry.

did you ever get the texture mapping to export properly?

I am facing the same error. haha 3 years later.   

using the jPCT for android :)

working with the demo and seems I am exporting a new .3ds that already has mapping...  seems the texture perhaps is wrong size.  I will continue to solve.

Texture coordinates are normalized...i don't see how the size has any influence as long as it isn't too large to fit into memory. Then again, i'm not 100% sure what you are actually talking about...a screen shot may help.
