Support / NVIDIA anaglyphic 3D display supported by jpct?
« on: April 10, 2010, 11:09:19 pm »
Has anybody experimented with the NVIDA 3D drivers to display true 3D images, using their "3D vision discover" mode with anaglyphic rendering?
I would like to know what I would need to do to use this function in an AWTGL canvas.

Support / problems migrating to Windows 7 64 bits
« on: January 02, 2010, 10:44:08 am »
Hi, I am moving my application to my new Windows 7 64 bit system and have memory problems when using the HW renderer (sw rendering works fine). I am thinking this may have to do with 32bit libs. The error I am getting is after creating the HW FrameBuffer (which doesn't show anything except the background in the specified color):

The code runs OK in my old Windows XP environment. Any suggestions of what I could do? (I am using  lwjgl 2.2.1 already)

Support / black shiny and chrome surfaces - how to?
« on: February 25, 2009, 08:45:05 am »
I am trying to get curved surfaces appear reflective (as far as it's possible in jPCT, anyway).
For a essentially black texture I was not able to achieve any highlights from point a light source, and also could not get a chrome effect.
I tried specular reflections and environment mapping, but could not see any differences when switching these settings on or off  >:(
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Projects / Interactive models of tensegrity structures
« on: February 15, 2009, 12:10:15 am »
I converted my old Java applet simulating Tensegrity structures from pseudo 3D code to a proper 3D rendering using jPCT.

Check out , play around with it (there is some help below the applet, as well as an explanation what tensegrity structures actually are) and tell me what you think.
