jPCT has been developed with 3D games in mind, but it's in no way limited to games. Here's a small overview of the larger projects using jPCT. For more projects and further information about a particular project, visit the forum's projects section.
CricHQ
CricHQ is a leading cricket scoring and viewing cricket application. More information can be found on the
CricHQ website. It uses jPCT-AE and is available on the Android market.
Max the flyer (3D)
Max the flyer is an accelerometer controlled, 3D flying game. More information can be found in the
Max the flyer thread. It uses jPCT-AE and is available on the Android market.
Forgotten Elements
Forgotten Elements is a free realtime Massively Multiplayer RPG (Hack and Slay). More information can be found on the
Forgotten Elements homepage. It uses the hardware renderer.
Subject 17
Subject 17 is a voice input based adventure game. More information can be found in the

Othello Legends
Othello Legends is an othello/reversi game in 3D mode. More information can be found in the

Mobialia Chess
Mobialia Chess is a powerful chess program with a new 3D mode. More information can be found on the

Connect4 3D
Connect 4 3D is a four in a row game. More information can be found on the

Miniking
Miniking is an action game with colorful graphics. More information can be found in the

3D Maze Live Wallpaper
3D Maze Live Wallpaper is a live wallpaper showing a 3d maze (hence the name...). More information can be found in the

jBrush
jBrush is a world and animation editor/library and serializer tool that can create scenes for jPCT and jPCT-AE. More information can be found in the

ObjectsEditor
ObjectsEditor a visual editor for editing object properties. More information can be found in the

Mad Racer
Mad Racer is a kind of racing game. It's available on the Android market and uses jPCT-AE. More information can be found in the

Abozao is a live world editor running in an applet. It uses the software renderer and can be found on the Abozao homepage.
An3DBenchXL
The more demanding successor of An3Dbench. It's a 3D benchmark for Android powered devices and uses, of course, jPCT-AE. It can be found in the Android Market.
Freddy Budgett
Freddy Budgett is an Android game available on the Android market. It uses jPCT-AE and jBullet. More information can be found in the

Dragon Mage
Dragon Mage is a work in progress of a fantasy strategy game. It uses the software renderer and can be found at the
Dragon Mage homepage. It's actually
the named and updated version of the "strategy game" entry below.
Jumpy
Jumpy is a work in progress of a simple ball control game for Android. You can find more information in the
Jumpy thread.
Bones
Bones is an animation library for jPCT. It supports skeletal and pose animations and runs on the desktop as well as on Android. More information can be found on the
bones homepage.
Alien Runner
Alien Runner is a work in progress of a kind of racing game for Android.It uses jPCT-AE and has a thread in
the forums.
An3DBench
An3DBench is a benchmark for Android using jPCT-AE. It can be found in the Android market and has a thread in
the forums.
Stickmen Wars 2
An early work in progress of some strategy game...i suppose.... It uses the software renderer. To have a look, visit the

Dungeonsmith
An online role playing game in which you can create your own adventure. It uses the software renderer. For more information, visit the

Ballbox
A work in progress of a game with balls and boxes. It uses the software renderer for an OLPC version and the hardware renderer for more powerful machines. For more information, visit the

Coke and Code Racing
A work in progress of a racing game by Kevin Glass. It uses the software renderer and runs in an applet. For more information, visit the

Strategy game
A work in progress of a strategy game. It uses the software renderer and runs in an applet. For more information, visit the

Goal Game Simulation
An AI project. Two teams of bots try to steal gifts from each other and take them to capture points. It uses the OpenGL renderer and can be found on CK's webpage.
Interactive Virtual Tensegrity Models
A simulation of various so-called tensegrity structures. It uses OpenGL for the offline version and software rendering for the applet version, which can be found on the Tensegrity webpage.
Robombs - multiplayer bombing fun
Robombs is a multiplayer LAN game inspired by Bomberman/Dynablaster. It uses the OpenGL renderer. More information and the game itself can be found at the Robombs homepage.
Off-road rally
Off-road rally is a off-road driving game that runs in an applet. It uses the software renderer and can be found on the Off-road rally homepage.
Technopolies - a MMORPG
Technopolies is a (now discontinued...:-() "work in progress" of a MMORPG. It used to use the hardware accelerated AWTGLRenderer and Swing for the GUI, but has lately been refactored to use the OpenGL renderer for both instead.
Aptal Karga - a 3D chat system
Aptal Karga is a "work in progress" of a 3D chat system. It uses the software renderer, the GUI is based on Swing. More on Aptal Karga can be found on www.aptalkarga.com.
jKilavuz: a guide in the polygon soup
jKilavuz is a sister project of Aptal Karga. It's a pathfinding system for Java. It uses jPCT's software mode in the demo but isn't bound to this engine. It has its own homepage at http://www.jkilavuz.com.
Bloodridge - a browser based RPG
Bloodridge is a "work in progress" of a browser based RPG. It uses the software renderer. More on Bloodridge can be found on the bloodridge homepage.
Beetles - a game without a plot
Beetles is a game wihout a plot. It uses the software renderer. More on Beetles can be found on the beetles homepage.
FutureRP - a MMORPG
FutureRP is a "work in progress" of a MMORPG. It started out as a tile based engine that was using the software renderer to render the characters only but evolved to full 3d using the OpenGL renderer lately.

Werdy World - a kids RPG
Werdy World is a "work in progress" of a kids RPG. It uses the OpenGL renderer. More on Werdy World can be found in the project's thread. There's also a video of an early version.
DevKit / Level-Editor
The level editor is a side project of Werdy World. It has its own thread and can be downloaded as open source.
Warehouse simulation
This is a warehouse simulation. It uses the OpenGL renderer. More information can be found in the jPCT-forums.
Fluidforms Designer
This is a commercial applet to modify products before purchasing them. The applet uses the software renderer, the website is available in german and in english. Give it a try at fluidforms individual design.
Trex Deck Designer
This is a commercial application to design decks (not of cards but the ones with planks and stuff). It seems to be quite popular (judging from the number of clicks www.jpct.net is getting from it) and uses the software renderer in an applet. Speedy Dragon WoW item viewer
This is an item viewer for World of Warcraft. It runs in an applet and uses the software renderer. It can be found on the german speedy dragon homepage or you can go directly to an example applet.
Labyrinth Z
This is "work in progress" of a platform/puzzle game. It runs in an applet and uses the software renderer. It can be found on the Labyrinth Z homepage.
Object3D Editor
This is an object editor for jPCT. It has a thread in the forums or you can download it directly from here: Object3DEditor.
Tokima - a browser based puzzle game
Tokima has been around for quite a while now. It seemed to be dead for some time, but obviously it has shifted focus to another kind of gameplay now and is alive again. You may visit the tokima homepage.
