Which program do you used to record the video?
Once I tried a portable version of fraps but the videos never opened in any video player. Fraps makes the FPS to go lower.

I use avi screen classic which is free. It does the trick nicely. All screen recorders will use a bit of cpu, depending on encoder.

Nice! You need a multi core CPU to do this kind of stuff on one machine in a convenient way. I have a quad core and can easily run the server and two clients plus a bot client while still working in Eclipse...
I'll have a look at this capture program too...was looking for one anyway...

I have a Pentium 4 2.67 Ghz with 512 MB of Ram and I used to open the server, 2 or 3 clients of Flier Match, plus eclipse, 3d studio max 8 and iTunes without problem.

Yea my computer isn't the greatest for such things heh. But does the trick for coding on.
I have a server ready when I do get my demo out, so thats no problem.
